TABLET CUTTER
Definition
A handheld device designed to divide a tablet into two equal parts for easier ingestion by a patient who cannot swallow a tablet whole. It typically consists of a small plastic case with a blade mechanism: when the case is closed, the blade cuts through the tablet.
