Therapeutic Action

Cardioselective beta-blocker

Indications

Hypertension and chronic stable angina pectoris

Stable chronic heart failure in combination with a converting enzyme inhibitor (enalapril)

Instructions for use

To be taken in the morning, with or without food. Do not chew.

Bisoprolol replaces atenolol.

The 10 mg tablets (quadrisected tablets) replace the 5 mg tablets.

Precautions for Use

Contraindicated in patients with asthma.
