Definition
Stand-alone distillation unit, efficiently distills 4 litres of water in approximately 3.5 hours.
A distillation water purification system heats impure water to vapour and then facilitates cooling of the vapour for condensation into pure water; it removes about 99.5% of impurities from original water including nitrates, bacteria, sodium, hardness, dissolved solids, most organic compounds, heavy metals, and radionuclides.
