Function
This device produces a 0.5% concentrated sodium hypochlorite solution (or 5 g of active chlorine per litre) from brine. It uses the electrolysis process and requires only clear water (< 5NTU) and salt. It is an interesting alternative to MSF's standard chlorinated product (Nadcc / HTH) and allows the mission to be autonomous and free from transport and storage constraints. This is the standard version of the WATA range and it is powered by photovoltaic generators.
Storage of produced chlorine solution: in a closed, non-metallic labelled container, and away from heat.
Chlorine solution produced has 24h shelf-life (= you must use within 24h after production time) under recommended storage conditions. Possibility to extend shelf-life up to three months with Wata-Stab kit.
Be aware that max production capacity is 2 cycle/day !
