The Advanced Medical Post (AMP) is one of the 6 main activity focal points of the Hospital kit.

The support activities of Sterilisation and Pharmacy are mandatory at one of the 6 main activity focal points of the hospital.

The 3 parts of the AMP are designed for 300 patients, including 50% severe cases.

• To manage medical, surgical, gynaecological/obstetrical, and paediatric cases
• Severe patients must be stabilised and referred to a hospital by ambulance (2-hours drive).
• Exceptionally, a patient may stay overnight.
• No power supply available
• Full treatment course for “green” patients
• 300 patients:
• 15% red (immediate/critical) = 45
• 25 % yellow (observation/urgent) = 75
• 10% black (expectant/deceased = 30
• 50% green (wait/"walking wounded") = 150
• The presence of a medical doctor is required.
