Therapeutic Action

Semi-synthetic, aminoglycoside antibiotic active against a broad spectrum of Gram-negative organisms, including pseudomonas and some Gram-positive organisms

Indications

Short-term treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas spp.

Nosocomial and ventilator-associated pneumonia, including cases related to COVID.

Caution!Amikacin is no longer indicated for DR-TB, as it is progressively removed from the short-term oral regimen in accordance with WHO guidelines.

Instructions for use
