Function

This device produces a 0.5% concentrated sodium hypochlorite solution (or 5 g of active chlorine per litre) from brine. It uses the electrolysis process and requires only clear water (< 5NTU) and salt. It is an interesting alternative to MSF's standard chlorinated product (Nadcc / HTH) and allows the mission to be autonomous and free from transport and storage constraints. This version is powered by photovoltaic generators.

Storage of produced chlorine solution: in a closed, non-metallic labelled container, and away from heat.

Chlorine solution produced has 24h shelf-life (= you must use within 24h after production time) under recommended storage conditions. Possibility to extend shelf-life up to three months with Wata-Stab kit.

Mind you, only one production cycle / day max !
