ANTI-POLLUTION CHECK VALVE, brass, 1", MxF threaded

Form

Anti-pollution brass check valve ​with two purge buttons in the centre. Threaded 1" female on one end and 1" male on the other. Per piece.

Fit

To be connected to 1" female couplings on one end and male on the other.

To ensure a leakage-free assembly on the male thread the use of threading fibres or teflon tape is required.

Function

  • The anti-pollution check valve is interposed between a network and the source supplying this network. It is designed to only allow water to flow in one direction.
  • The anti-pollution check valve differs from a simple non-return valve in that it must be approved "anti-pollution" by the health authorities. A difference must therefore be made to comply with regulatory standards.
  • The arrow on the side indicates the direction that the valve allows liquids to flow towards.
  • Purge buttons for checking valve tightness.
